Route 40 Detour in Milan on Saturday (8/31/2010)

Trinity West Parking Lot Construction Detour - Route 30E & 30W (8/31/2010)
Due to construction in the Trinity West parking lot, there will be changes to how the 30 East and 30 West travel through that area. More
Augie Late Night 53 Detour (8/31/2010)
Due to the Rock Island Grand Prix races on Friday, September 3rd and Saturday, September 4th, the Late Night Augustana Route 53 will be detoured. All passengers can board and unboard at the corner of 17th Street and 2nd Avenue. Services on 19th Street and 2nd Avenue will be cancelled due to the race.

Metro will return to it's normal route schedule the following weekend. More
Holiday Hours (8/30/2010)
In observance of Labor Day, METRO will be closed Monday, September 6, 2010 & NO routes will be running.

METRO will return to regular route service on September 7, 2010.

No service to Spencer Tower (8/30/2010)
Due to the Rock Island Grand Prix being held in downtown Rock Island, there will be NO SERVICE TO SPENCER TOWER from September 3, 2010 at 5:00 PM through Monday, September 6, 2010.

A temporary bus stop will be located on 4th Avenue between 13th & 14th Street.

Metro will return to Regular Route on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010.

Route 53 Enhancements Begin Monday, August 16th (8/16/2010)

Effective Monday, August 16, 2010, the Route 53 will serve the Augustana neighborhood by providing access with direct service to and from The District and the following major destinations:

 

**Hyvee 18th Avenue

**Rock Valley Plaza

**Trinity Medical Center, Moline

**Menards, Target, Kohl’s, Hy-Vee

 

Service to Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island, will continue to be served by the Route 30.

 

Complete fixed route service continues into evening hours with the last bus leaving The District at 9:00 p.m. (weekdays only).

 

Late night service between Augustana Campus and The District, Rock Island will run between the approximate hours of 10:30 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday only.
