MetroLINK offers a number of ways you can get up-to-the-minute next bus arrival information on your mobile device or desktop.
TransLoc Mobile App
Our new real-time app makes it SO simple. Try these three easy steps:
1. Download TransLoc Rider in your app store.
The TransLoc Rider app is currently available in the Apple and Google Play marketplaces. Note that Metro has discontinued it's former "My QC Metro" app.
2. Choose MetroLINK as your transit system.
After downloading Rider, the app will ask to use your mobile device's location. This allows the app to identify your nearby stops/routes and arrival predictions. Once allowed, the app will show nearby transit systems. Click on "MetroLINK."TransLoc has over 160 customers nationwide. Visit TransLoc's website to see what other transit systems the Rider app can be used with.
3. Ride Metro. Find your routes. Track your Bus. Get alerts.
Once you've selected MetroLINK, you'll be taken to a map screen with icons across the top. Click the route icon (second from the left) and select your route(s). This lets you choose the informational that's viewable on your map.
Metro has over 2,000 stop codes throughout our service area that allow you to get up real-time route information via text. Simply enter 35890 in the “To” field of your phone, and choose the appropriate stop code that best corresponds with your location and enter the designated stop code into the “Subject” line. Hit “Send”, and within 30 seconds your next bus information time will be delivered to your cell phone. Metro's TxtLINK service is free, but text messaging charges from your wireless carrier may apply.
